Microchipping

Since 2016, it is the legal duty of every dog owner to make sure their dog is microchipped. It is also the owner’s legal duty to keep their details up to date with the microchip registration company.

Every time we pick up a stray dog it is scanned for a microchip. If we pick up a stray dog without a microchip we will not return it to the owner without it being chipped. We do not send stray dogs to a new home without them being chipped.

Most local vets will microchip your dog for a small fee.
