Disruption to bin collections

This page will show the latest disruptions or updates for bin collections in South Derbyshire.

19 November 2024

Due to the inclement weather conditions today and bin collections being in the rural areas of the district, a decision has been made to cancel ALL collections, this includes bulky waste and bin deliveries/collections.
Today's collection will be moved to Saturday 23 November.
We apologise for any inconvience caused

Some streets in Swadlincote did not have their brown bins collected earlier today.

Affected residents should leave their bins out for a pending collection due tomorrow.
