Land reclamation
We are currently receiving a high number of planning applications which is resulting in delays to our usual response times. We are determining applications and responding to enquiries in the order they are received. We will respond as soon as possible.
We promote the reclamation or improvement of derelict, neglected or unsightly land through the policies contained within the Local Plan. These seek to see land in sustainable locations developed ahead of greenfield sites. We can serve an Enforcement Notice on owners of neglected sites to secure tidying up.

The Government has compiled the National Land Use Database which is a national register of previously developed land.
