Donington Park race track

Noise from racetrack activity is controlled by the conditions contained in the current planning permissions (June 2013) and a Noise Abatement Notice issued by North West Leicestershire District Council in 2010.

Motorsport is, by its nature, a noisy activity. The conditions are designed to allow the operators of the racetrack to maximise the business opportunities available whilst limiting the number of events per year likely to cause local annoyance. They also limit the duration of noisy events and the noise produced by each individual vehicle.
