Three new business workshops
Three new free-to-attend workshops are available to choose from.
One is for people contemplating starting their own business - the other two workshops focus on marketing techniques and are aimed at businesses at different stages of their journey.

Monday 26 February 2024 at the Swadlincote Innovation Centre, Bob Wheeler House, George Holmes Business Park, Swadlincote.
Would-be entrepreneurs in South Derbyshire are being encouraged to embark on their business journey with a free event.
The ‘Thinking of Starting a Business?’ event is aimed at people who are contemplating running their own business or have recently become self-employed.
South Derbyshire Business Advice Service will focus on the essentials required to be business-ready. Attendees can expect to get a better understanding of topics such as legal structures, tax, insurance, finding premises, marketing, skills to support a new venture and finance, including grants and loans to get started.
David Richards, Business Adviser at the South Derbyshire Business Advice Service, said: “This is a great opportunity for individuals and new businesses to delve into the wealth of skills, expert advice and guidance that’s on offer.
“These events have helped hundreds of new businesses get off on the right foot, from car valeting to manufacturing. We hope that someone attending this latest course will provide us with the next success story.”
Budding entrepreneurs looking to make the right moves are invited to the Swadlincote Innovation Centre, Bob Wheeler House, George Holmes Business Park, George Holmes Way, off Hearthcote Road, Swadlincote, DE11 9DF from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm on Monday 26 February 2024.
Although the event is free, places are limited so those interested in attending are being urged to book early to secure their place.
