Work Club Drop-in sessions - Tuesday and Wednesday mornings

CV CV

A free work club is available on a drop-in basis at a number of local venues where residents are able to get friendly help and advice in all areas of job hunting.

The work club is run on Tuesday mornings (during school term time) at the Old Post Centre, Newhall and on Wednesday mornings (during school term time) at Oakland Village, Swadlincote.

It is completely free to attend and you will be able to get help with searching and applying for work, building a CV, completing an application form or anything else that you may be struggling with relating to gaining employment or changing jobs.

If you are in need of advice, help in applying for a job or simply want to use the computers with the reassurance of someone there to help if you aren’t computer literate, please drop-in, booking is not required.

If you wish to arrange a one-to-one appointment or if you require a CV writing at either location then it is recommended that you call the Old Post Centre on 01283 552263.

For more information on dates and times please take a look at the Work Club leaflet. (pdf, 2.4mb)
