The Annual Canvass for 2024 will be starting shortly - this is the process where the Council contacts every household in South Derbyshire to check we've got the right information on the Electoral Register.

As residents of South Derbyshire you will receive an email or letter asking if your household's details on the Electoral Register are correct. There will be an option to respond on-line, by telephone or by returning a paper form. All you need to do is follow the instructions, and you will be ready to have your say in future elections.

South Derbyshire District Council is committed to reducing its impact on the environment and therefore it will be using and encouraging on-line methods of contact where possible. Online contact will also reduce costs by reducing postage, paper and processing time.
