Derbyshire County Council by-election announced in Swadlincote South

A by-election will be held to elect one councillor to the Swadlincote South electoral division of Derbyshire County Council on Thursday 31 August.

The by-election has been called following the death of County Councillor Roger Redfern who died in June this year.

Forms of nomination for this by-election are available from the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 0AH or by emailing elections@southderbyshire.gov.uk.

Nomination papers must be delivered to the returning officer at the Civic Offices on any day after the date of this notice but no later than 4 pm on Thursday 3 August 2023.
