Funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II - changes to Council services

Changes to Council services because of the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II.

All bin collections which were due to take place on Monday 19 September will be carried out on Saturday 17 September.

Please make sure your bin is out for collection by 6am as crews may be out a different times from usual.

Council buildings will be closed on Monday 19 September.

The flag at the Civic Offices, Swadlincote will fly at half-mast until Tuesday 20 September following the late Queen’s funeral.
