Books of condolence to open in Melbourne and Etwall

South Derbyshire District Council in partnership with Melbourne Parish Council is making a book of condolence available at Melbourne Assembly Rooms. This will be open from 9am to 5pm on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September, from 8am to 8pm on Monday 12 to Friday 16 September and 9am to 5pm on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September.

South Derbyshire District Council is also providing a book of condolence at Etwall Leisure Centre. This will be available each day from 8.30am to 4pm until Sunday 18 September.

This is in addition to the book of condolence at the Civic Offices in Swadlincote which is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday 10 September, from noon to 4.30pm on Sunday 10 September and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Monday 12 September to Saturday 17 September and from noon to 4.30pm on Sunday 18 September.

South Derbyshire District Council in partnership with Swadlincote traders and Swadlincote Market is playing respects by displaying a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in the Delph area.
