Bandstand summer music calendar confirmed

The Music in the Park programme is back for 2022 at the Bandstand on Maurice Lea Memorial Park, Church Gresley.

Following on from a successful 2021 summer programme, we are pleased to announce the following Music in the Park dates:

  • Wednesday 27 July, 2-4pm (Band tbc)
  • Sunday 31 July, 2-4pm – Uttoxeter Town Band
  • Wednesday 10 Aug, 2-4pm (Band tbc)

Bring along chairs, rugs and picnics and enjoy live music in the park. Ice cream will be available to purchase.

Plus, prior to the above and after a two-year gap, the Festival of Leisure is back on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June, 11.30am-5pm.

The summer programme of music will finish with our annual Proms in the Park on Sunday 14 August, 2-6pm - Newhall Band (other music tbc).
