PLEASE BE AWARE - Cost of living crisis payments scam.

We have been informed scammers are contacting people by text and asking for their bank account details to confirm which account to pay it into. They look like they are from the (Department for Work & Pensions) DWP.

!! This is a scam !! You should never text your bank account details anywhere and DWP would never ask for them by text.

We are informed the first payment of £326 will automatically be dropping into eligible bank accounts between 14/7/22 and 31/7/22.
