Funeral of former Council Chair John Wilkins

The funeral of John Wilkins, who served as Council Chair in 1995/96 will take place this afternoon.

The funeral cortege will pass the Civic Offices at 2.30pm.

John Wilkins was a Labour councillor for 29 years, until his retirement in 2019, and represented Midway ward.
