Booking lines open for Liberation Day event

After a two-year absence due to COVID-19, the popular Liberation Day event organised by South Derbyshire District Council is back.

The free afternoon for South Derbyshire residents aged 60 and over is making its return at Maurice Lea Memorial Park on Wednesday 18 May (1.30pm - 4pm).

Not only will this be a free afternoon of live entertainment and valuable information - the Council is also providing free transport to the event, plus exclusive goodie bags and refreshment vouchers.

To claim your goodie bag, refreshment voucher and free transport (if required) South Derbyshire residents over 60 must call the dedicated phone lines on 01283 595851 or 01283 228753.

These lines are only open from today (Monday 25) to Friday 29 April, between the hours of 9:30am - 12:30pm and 2pm - 4pm.
