Paying tribute to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh
South Derbyshire residents who would like to pay tribute to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh are asked to sign the national book of condolence.
The book of condolence is available on the Royal Family's website: Send a message of condolence.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions, people are asked not to gather or to lay flowers in memory of Prince Philip.
Anyone who wishes to make a donation in memory of His Royal Highness is asked to donate to a charity supported by Prince Philip or to a charity of their choice.
Prince Philip's funeral will be held on Saturday 17 April at St George's Chapel in Windsor. The funeral will be broadcast on television and radio. People are asked to watch the funeral with their household or support bubble and not to gather in groups. The flag at the Civic Offices, Swadlincote will continue to fly at half mast until 8am on Sunday 18 April, the day following the funeral.
