Spread your wings at Rosliston’s butterfly safari
Nature enthusiasts young and old are invited to take part in a butterfly walk at a major tourist attraction.
Expert Peter Brewster will be giving visitors some top tips and guidance at Rosliston Forestry Centre on Sunday, July 1.
Held by Get Active in The Forest, the two mile stroll allows walkers to take a closer look at the colourful creatures and identify various species in scenic surroundings.
Tor Adams, Get Active in the Forest Manager, said: “Nothing says summer better than a walk in the sunshine with beautiful butterflies all around.
“Peter is an extremely friendly and knowledgeable guide who will take you on a unique journey of discovery. Make sure you bring your camera with you to capture these intriguing insects in all of their glory.”
Attendees should meet in the foyer of the Hub Café at 1.45pm for a 2pm start.
There are no stiles on this walk, which costs just £1 per person and is designed to be suitable for people of all ages.
Only assistance dogs are permitted on the walk.
