Planning consultation sessions
An extra drop-in session to give members of the public the chance to comment on the future shape of South Derbyshire has been arranged.
Planning consultations are currently being held across the District, covering potential green spaces, design and affordable housing.
The details of the drop-in events still to take place across the district are as follows:
- Rosliston and Cauldwell Village Hall, Rosliston, between 3.30pm and 7.15pm on Wednesday, 12 July 2017
- Frank Wickham Hall, Etwall, between 4pm and 6.15pm on Thursday, 13 July 2017
- Aston on Trent War Memorial Hall, Aston, between 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Monday, 17 July 2017
- District Council’s Civic Offices, Swadlincote between 4.30pm and 7.30pm on Thursday, 20 July 2017.
These consultations follow on from the adoption of the Local Plan Part 1 last summer and the emerging Local Plan Part 2. This will allocate sites in the District for developments of fewer than 100 homes and provides policies to help determine planning applications up to 2028.
View the Local Plan consultation documents or request reference copies from the Civic Offices in Swadlincote and at all local libraries.
Comments will be accepted until 5pm on 7 August 7 2017.
