Medium-Term Financial Strategy 2024/25 - 2028/29 & Productivity Plan

 

This Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) provides a strategic framework and approach to long-term financial sustainability of South Derbyshire District Council. It is core to the ongoing delivery of priority outcomes in the 2024 – 2028 Council Plan and aids robust and methodical planning.

South Derbyshire District Council Productivity Plan

As part of the 2024/25 Local Government Finance Settlement, the former Secretary of State, Michael Gove, announced the plans to review productivity across all public services.  As part of this, all Councils were asked to produce a productivity plan.

The plan sets out the work undertaken in recent times which has improved productivity and transformed services, as well as looking ahead to what the Council has committed to deliver as part of its Council Plan and Medium-Term Financial Strategy.
