Christmas Themed Sculpture Trail

South Derbyshire District Council wishes to provide an entertaining and eye-catching, family-friendly Christmas themed public sculpture trail around Swadlincote town centre. Throughout the period of its installation, it is intended that the trail will form the ‘festive hub’ to which other seasonal activity will be linked.

The project is funded via the Welcome Back Fund, which supports local authorities in England to put in place additional measures to create and promote a safe environment for local trade and tourism. The focus of the initiative is particularly around the high streets as their economies reopen, encouraging people back and thereby supporting local businesses.

Closing date for tenders is by noon on Monday 16 August 2021
