Midway Community Centre
Midway Community Centre is a community facility based at Rowan Drive (DE11 0FF).
The centre has two rooms available for hire, the Sports Hall and the Foyer Meeting Room, and is an ideal venue for sports activities (badminton, short tennis), meetings, exhibitions, fairs, seminars, training and private gatherings.
The maximum capacity for the Sports Hall is 120 people. This is dependent on the type of event e.g. a theatre-style layout would reduce the capacity to 100 people and the maximum capacity for a meeting or party would be 100 people.
The maximum capacity for the Foyer Meeting Room is 30 people but again is dependent on the type of event e.g. a theatre-style, meeting or small party layout would reduce the capacity to 30 people.
The centre has changing facilities which serve the two football pitches located on site, one of which is an adult sized pitch and the other one is suitable for under 14s. The pitches are let on a season-long basis only.
The centre also has a defibrillator.
