Disruption to bin collections

This page will show the latest disruptions or updates for bin collections in South Derbyshire.

20 January 2025

Due to unforeseen circumstances, roads around Derby Road in Hatton did not have their black bins collected.

Residents are advised to leave their bins out for a collection on 21 January.

We apologise for this inconvenience.

7 January 2025

Due to flooding Church Lane, Barrow upon Trent and Church Lane, Swarkestone did not have there green bins collected.

Residents are advised to leave their green recycling bins out and we will return as soon as possible to empty these bins.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

20 December 2024

Due to unforeseen circumstances, some roads in Newton Solney did not have their black bins collected on Wednesday. Residents are advised to keep their refuse out in order for a collection on Saturday 21 December.
