Local Plan Part 1 examination
We are currently receiving a high number of planning applications which is resulting in delays to our usual response times. We are determining applications and responding to enquiries in the order they are received. We will respond as soon as possible.
We submitted the South Derbyshire Local Plan Part 1 to the Secretary of State for independent examination on August 8, 2014. Initial hearings took place in November and December 2014 and following suspension, resumed hearing sessions occurred in December 2015. The consultation on the Main Modifications closed on April 13, 2016 and the Local Plan Part 1 was adopted at a Special Full Council on June 13, 2016.
