Applications for review

In addition to providing Licensing Authorities with the power to grant premises licences, the Licensing Act 2003 also provides us with the power to review premises licences. Any member of the public, authorised person, or responsible authority may formally apply to us to review any licensed property that they consider is causing a detrimental impact on one of the four licensing objectives:

1. Prevention of crime and disorder
2. Prevention of public nuisance
3. Public safety
4. Protection of children from harm

Current notices can be found on the pending premises licence applications page. A copy of the notice will also be displayed on the notice board outside our Civic Offices on Civic Way, Swadlincote.
