Housing Ombudsman Service
The Housing Ombudsman Service is an independent body set up by law to look at complaints about registered housing associations. The service is free, independent and impartial.
The service resolves disputes involving the tenants and leaseholders of social landlords (housing associations and local councilss) and our voluntary members (private landlords and letting agents who are committed to good service for their tenants).
The service publishes the result of individual cases. You can read all decisions here: Decisions Archive - Housing Ombudsman.
If you are a tenant and you have a complaint about the service you have received from South Derbyshire District Council as your landlord, please see the complaints page of out website: Comments, compliments and complaints.
