An event for South Derbyshire manufacturers
The Council is excited to announce a free event, “Support & Grow”, designed specifically for manufacturers of all sizes in South Derbyshire.
This event will be held on Tuesday 16 July 2024 from 7:30am to 10am at The Hive on Sharpe’s Industrial Estate in Alexandra Road, Swadlincote DE11 9AZ. The aim is to connect local manufacturers with support services provided by the D2N2 Growth Hub, East Midlands Chamber, East Midlands Manufacturing Network and other agencies.
The event will kick off with East Midlands Chamber providing an overview of support available from the agencies, followed by a presentation on the Made Smarter programme, and then an opportunity for attendees to learn about the East Midlands Manufacturing Network.
Devtank, a local manufacturer, will share their experience of benefiting from these support services. The event will continue with opportunities to network with peers and have one-to-one discussions with advisers to address specific business needs.
This will be an insightful morning with the opportunity to learn about fully funded advice, training, consultancy and the East Midlands Manufacturing Network.
