Annual Report released
The Council has released its Annual Report for 2022/23, providing a snapshot of its work and details of its finances for the year.
The report provides an overview of some of the activity carried out during the year, as well as showing how funds available were spent.
Key events and achievements are highlighted, showing how the authority worked to make progress against the themes of its current Corporate Plan.
The return of South Derbyshire’s spectacular events programme – made possible by the lifting of all COVID-19 restrictions – is celebrated with a look at Liberation Day, Music in the Park, and Festival of Leisure, among other popular occasions.
The colourful document concludes with a page of things to look out for in 2023/24.
The report shows the significant achievements made by the council and through working with its partners and communities.
