EDI annual report 2022/23

We are delighted to announce the release of our Equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) annual report for the year 2022/23. The report is a comprehensive insight into the work being completed across the district to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion and raise awareness of the different needs of our communities.  

This report stands as a testament to our commitment to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of our residents and customers. Within the report’s pages, you will find a detailed account of the concerted efforts undertaken across the district to promote awareness, highlight crucial initiatives, and advance our collective journey towards a more inclusive and equitable South Derbyshire.

We will continue to progress this work with our partners to achieve the key priorities in our EDI Strategy and Action Plan and to meet our statutory duties under the Equality Act 2010. 

We invite you to immerse yourself in the report, taking the time to explore the various initiatives and milestones achieved. Furthermore, we encourage you to share the inspiring activities and initiatives from your own communities. Your insights and contributions are invaluable as we continue to evolve and improve.
