We are currently experiencing delays to green bin collections.

This is because of a large increase in the amount of recycling being placed in green bins with around 30 per cent more due to the extra Christmas recycling and the lockdown restrictions currently in place.

The crews are currently working hard to carry out collections which have been delayed.

If your green bin was due to be collected today (Wednesday 13 January), and has not been emptied, please leave it out until it is collected.

If your green bin is due to be collected tomorrow (Thursday 14 January), please make sure your bin is out for 6am on Thursday morning. If it is not emptied tomorrow, please leave it out until it is collected.
