Statement on the death of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh

Councillor David Muller, South Derbyshire District Council’s Chairman said:

“It is with great regret and sadness that the Council has been officially informed of the death of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh

“The Council will send condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family on behalf of all councillors and employees of South Derbyshire District Council.

“The Council will fly flags at half mast until 8am on the day following the royal funeral.”
