Christmas Bin Collections

Please could you ensure your bins are presented the night before collection day or by 5.00am if your Christmas/New Year collections fall on Saturday 20th or 27th December 2025 or 3rd January 2026. Our crews will need to start collections a little earlier than usual due to reduced opening hours at our transfer facilities over the festive period. Thank-you for your co-operation.

Charity offers free employability support at Swadlincote event South Derbyshire residents who are currently unemployed are invited to a free employability event taking place at Swadlincote Town Hall on Friday 9 January, from 10am to 2pm.
