New Roads to Japan: Forging Better Business Links Through the Toyota City-Derbyshire Partnership

This year’s Japan Local Government Centre (JLGC) seminar, as part of the recent 20th anniversary of the Toyota City-Derbyshire relationship, will focus on creating opportunities for local business through international municipal links, looking at Derbyshire's longstanding link with Toyota City, and international strategies implemented by local authorities with Japan looking at their importance to UK local authorities in forming long-term partnerships to support their local economies.
This JLGC event has been organised with Derbyshire County Council and Marketing Derby for local businesses interested in the Japanese market and Japanese inward investment trends into the UK, and would be of interest to professionals working in such areas within the wider Midlands, as well as the Japanese business community in London wanting to know more about economic trends in the region.
The event is free to attend and open to businesses, local authorities and other interested organisations.
